It is often not possible or practical for a family member to escort a loved one to a doctor’s appointment or to day surgery. Our professional caregivers from Senior Rides picks up our clients at home and takes them either to the doctor’s office or the surgery center.

Transportation – We pick our clients up from home in a clean, smoke free car. When we arrive at the doctor’s office, we will escort them into the exam room or await them in the waiting room. After the appointment, we make sure that they are safely resituated at home.

Medical Information for Appointment – all necessary information is collected and brought to the appointment, including:

• CT Scans


Transportation Services – Doctor’s appointment


Our trained caregiver picks up our clients in a clean, non-smoking car. Once in the doctor’s office we will either join them in the exam room or wait in the waiting room. We come equipped with everything that the patient needs for their appointment, medication list, medical history, lab results, Xrays, MRIs, CT Scans and anything else required.

Medication and Medical History Binder


All information is recorded in a custom binder that we prepare for each client. If a doctor needs to prescribe a new medication, all of the current prescriptions are presented in a concise list to be reviewed by medical staff. Treatment instructions can be written right into the binder, this prevents confusion by the patient when they get home. All previous notes in the binder can be reviewed, providing continuity of care. The binder is our gift to our clients to use in future appointments also.

Transportation Services – Day Surgery


Surgery centers require that a patient scheduled to undergo sedation must have a ride home. Many of them also will not allow those patients to be picked up by a taxi service. Senior Rides provides the answer to this problem. We pick up our clients from their home in a clean, non-smoking car, escort them to the Surgery Center and meet them in recovery following their surgery. We also make sure that they make it safely back into their home. On the way home, we would be glad to stop by the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions.
